In-person registration: Sunday, May 11, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Bellport Bay Yacht Club
First day of classes for Session I – June 30, last day for Session I is July 22
First day of classes for Session II – July 23, last day for Session II is August 14
Parent Orientations: Monday, June 30, 6:30 p.m. for BOTH Sessions.
Water safety test on the first day of classes
Awards Dinner at the Bellport Bay Yacht Club – August 14th

Sailing Registration Procedure:
1.    Read program descriptions below. They indicate the level, the timing and the pricing of the programs. Remember $25.00 off posted price if you register and pay by May 11!
2.    Review BBSF’s Boat Use Policy.
3.    Print-out and fill-in the following forms:

a.    The 2008 Sailing Registration Form
b.    Parental Waiver and Consent Form
c.    Medical Form

4.    Make payment to BBSF, Inc.
5.    Send payment and forms to BBSF, Inc., P.O. Box 609, Bellport, NY 11713

Youth Sailing Programs in Foundation-Owned Mercury Sailboats

Advanced Beginner Session I - June 30 to July 22 Session II - July 23 to Aug 14	For students who have completed the beginner class or the equivalent	Monday through Thursday	8 a.m. – 10 a.m. ages 7-10 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. ages 10 and up 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m ages 12 and up	$375 for each session. $525 for sessions I and II.
Intermediate Session I - June 30 to July 22 Session II - July 23 to Aug 14	For students perfecting skills and developing self-reliance	Monday through Thursday	10 a.m. to 12 p.m 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m ages 12 and up	$375 for each session. $525 for sessions I and II.
Advanced Sailing Session I - June 30 to July 22 Session II - July 23 to Aug 14	For students who are capable of skippering and who wish to advance their skill level	Monday through Thursday	1 p.m. to 4 p.m. ages 12 and up	$375 for each session. $525 for sessions I and II.
Teen Intro to Sailing Two-week program	First week emphasizes fundamentals. Second week consolidates skills by cruising and exploring Bellport Bay.	Monday through Thursday	1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Two sessions planned - July 7 to 17 and July 28 to Aug 8	$300 for each session.
Private Lessons	Individual sessions customized to student’s needs and schedule.	Depends on instructor availability.	Afternoons, early evening (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.),	$40 per hour for one student; $60 per hour for two.

7 Week Optimist Program - June 30 to August 14
Must have boat (seven program boats available for additional $250 fee, must reserve, first come basis)

Youth Sailing - C420 Programs (NOT A BEGINNING COURSE)

Youth Sailing - Sunfish and Laser Sailing

Adult Sailing Programs

Women’s Sailing	All levels of sailing will be accommodated from rank beginners to old salts. Beginners will sail with an instructor in the boat while experienced sailors may prefer to take a boat out without an instructor. Whatever your skill level, we will help you increase your sailing knowledge (fundamentals, weather, cruising, racing) in a fun format.	Wednesdays unless enrollment requires another day, in which case there will also be a class on Tuesday. Starting July 2.	6 to 8 p.m. sailing, then post class gathering for wine and cheese (byo) at the club.	$200 per person
Adult Sailing Group Sessions Depends on demand and availability of instructors. Indicate your interest.	Customized to fit student needs and objectives	Tuesdays or Thursdays for six weeks beginning either July 1 or 3.	6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. sailing	$200 per person
